The National Council for Metal Detecting

Other signatories include such prestigious groups as the Council for British Archeology, and the British Museum .
Membership is simple and relatively inexpensive. An annual membership fee of £5 is all that is required. This club accepts individual members, and can also accommodate other local clubs as well. However, it must be noted that all members, whether individual or group, must abide by the agreements set forth in the Code of Practice of Responsible Metal Detecting. This club has a history almost 30 years long, and is one of the oldest metal detecting clubs in Kent . Its members come from all over Kent , and regular meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month at St. Nicholas Church Hall in Poplar Grove. It is affiliated with the NCMD, and its members subscribe to the Code of Practice of Responsible Metal Detecting. The Ashfield Metal Detecting Club
